OVERTON LEA RESERVE

Public BBQ

Overton Lea Reserve presents itself as a serviceable neighbourhood park in Sydenham that divides opinion among visitors. The facility features two clean barbecues and freshly mowed grounds, creating a pleasant backdrop for family gatherings. The old-style playground, while modest in scope, provides adequate entertainment for children within easy sight lines of parents. Tennis enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Sydenham Tennis Club, adding recreational variety. The park's appeal lies in its unpretentious nature - a straightforward green space where families can bring both children and pets for outdoor time. However, the absence of toilet facilities and occasional maintenance lapses with overflowing bins require visitors to plan accordingly.
